Many models use LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fabric from the Italian company Carvico. It withstands chlorine and sun better than ordinary swimwear fabric.
Sun protection
Some of the swimwear has UV protection that blocks over 98% of UV radiation. A good choice for the beach and for children.

Depending on the model, AquaWave swimwear features:
- chlorine-resistant fabric for regular pool swimming
- UV protection UPF 50+
- recycled fibre
- fabric that resists sunscreen and oils
