Get a varied workout by increasing resistance!
Swimming itself is a versatile exercise, however, after swimming several kilometers, it is good to diversify your training. Versatile training provides different stimuli for the muscles and maintains training motivation. In the pool, versatility can be increased, for example, through resistance training. Resistance training adds power to everyday training by activating muscles in different ways than traditional coil training. Resistance training offers a challenge even for experienced swimmers, and it also improves endurance and speed!

Power for hand-pulling from flatbreads
The hand grips increase water resistance. The grips are suitable for both hand pull technique training and strength training.
The patented design of the Finis Agility Paddle Paddle optimizes the correct arm position in the water, enabling a more efficient handstroke. Helps the swimmer to get the right grip on the water, especially in the initial phase of the stroke. The design is based on the lack of straps and the convexity of the paddle, so that incorrect technique causes the paddle to fall from the hand. The paddle is therefore particularly suitable for technique training, but also offers resistance from the water. The Agility paddle is suitable for training in every swimming sport.
The Finis Bolster Paddle Paddle helps you maintain a high elbow position during the handstroke while enhancing the stroke. The wide design and size of the paddle helps you train your upper body strength effectively. Bolster paddles are suitable for stroke training in every swimming sport.
The Finis ISO Lattäri is one of our newest Lattäri models. The Lattäri is designed to isolate specific muscle groups and focus force on both arms to maintain proper arm stroke. The ISO Lattäri is suitable for every swimming style:
The external isolation of the arm stroke is suitable for backstroke and freestyle swimming, activating the extensors and hamstrings.
The internal armstroke isolation is suitable for breaststroke and butterfly swimming, activating the biceps, shoulders and pectoral muscles.
A new feel with a trailing shadow on the water
A pull-back resistance pad that attaches to your waist increases the effectiveness of your workout. The faster you swim, the more resistance you get!
Finis Swim Parachute resistance parachute doesn't get in the way during sprints and with a little practice, you can turn without any problems. You'll get an incredible feel for the water and normal swimming once you've pulled the resistance parachute behind you for a while. Use the parachute for targeted sets at moderate intervals - for example 8 x 50 m, every other fin with the parachute and every other without.
Available in two sizes, 20 and 30 cm. We recommend starting with a smaller size and increasing the size once you have practiced with a shorter shadow.
Pullover and Pulling ankle strap
The puller helps shift the focus to arm stroke training. On the one hand, to its frequency, on the other hand, to power. Arm stroke frequency refers to the rotational speed of the arm stroke. Overall swimming speed is affected by the force and frequency of the arm stroke, as well as the power of the kicks, glide and correct body position. The puller can also be used to correct the position of the lower body.
A rubber band around the ankles is an aid that keeps the ankles together, preventing kicks. The ankle strap is suitable for use in conjunction with a puller.
Speed and power from flippers
Fins are an excellent tool for training versatile kicking power. Fins can also be used to train lower back strength and improve ankle mobility. Open-toed fins in particular are well suited for both purposes. Arena's Powerfin Pro is a short-bladed swimming fin designed for strength training, which increases the power and strain of the kick. The flexible tip that bends more easily upwards reduces flexion and bending in the knees and ankles. DMC's Elite fin is an award-winning fin with V-shaped edges designed to move the water optimally and efficiently during the kick.
