The first of Arena's Olympic year suits is a revamped version of the Carbon Flex VX competition suit. As its name suggests, the new Carbon Core suit is designed to improve support in the core and lift the swimmer into an optimal position with a new type of double taping in the legs and buttocks area.

The suit is designed for shorter distances (less than 200m) and has a compression level of 4/5.

New features in the suit:

• IMPROVED SUPPORT IN THE LIP AREA The support panel in the pelvic area has been improved, which is intended to help the swimmer maintain an optimal swimming position even when tired. The support panels distribute the compression evenly and provide firm support to the body.
• DOUBLE SEAMING/TAPEING This is the biggest innovation compared to its predecessor. The suit features a new type of double seaming on the back of the legs and in the buttocks area. This provides maximum support for the swimmer and lifts the swimmer, helping to maintain an optimal position. The purpose is to reduce water resistance.
